Time to re-initiate the family blog. There is far too much going on and we are spread too far and too wide to keep up with each other. M and P are quietly and serenely hidden away in our little townhouse on the outskirts of South Jordan, Utah. We remain happy and healthy, save for the inevitable aches and pains that come from "maturing" in our society. Anxiously awaiting a visit from the Rexbabs this weekend and the opportunity to celebrate with Sam his 18th birthday. Planning a "road trip" to Arizona (the last it appears) and to California the end of the month and first part of February. Hopefully the early vestiges of spring will be noticeable when we return.
Anyway, feel free to jump back in……pictures, stories, etc appreciated and needed…………M and P

Pumpkin Patchin' 2009
In keeping of family tradition, we visited another pumpkin patch farm this weekend. This time, we drove about 30 miles east to a little farm town called Erie, Colorado. At the heart lives the booming Anderson Farm - a working farm that turns into nothing short of an amusement park around this time of year. Complete with a corn maze, barrel train, trike race track and every kind of activity that can be created out of old, used farm parts.
Fun was had by all.

Labor Day Weekend
This is the kids searching
for arrow heads in the sand
took us on a 4 hour pontoon
ride. We went all the way
the freezing cold water. It was very deep and had an orange color to it because of the iron in the water.

I don't know why this is facing this way... but anyway this is the cabin we stayed in.
This is us in Duluth on our way to the cabin. We rode this family bike for 2 hours. Don't you love Jane's finger in her nose! She is a ham!
This was our last hurrah before school started. We had a great weekend up north. It was sad to have to come home and start real life again! God has created a beautiful world!
I don't know why this is facing this way... but anyway this is the cabin we stayed in.
