Pumpkin Patchin' 2009

In keeping of family tradition, we visited another pumpkin patch farm this weekend. This time, we drove about 30 miles east to a little farm town called Erie, Colorado. At the heart lives the booming Anderson Farm - a working farm that turns into nothing short of an amusement park around this time of year. Complete with a corn maze, barrel train, trike race track and every kind of activity that can be created out of old, used farm parts.

Fun was had by all.

Labor Day Weekend

This is the kids searching
for arrow heads in the sand
They found 5.

One of Tony's dealers
took us on a 4 hour pontoon
ride. We went all the way
into Canada. Beautiful!

Spenc and Ben jumping in
the freezing cold water. It was very deep and had an orange color to it because of the iron in the water.

I don't know why this is facing this way... but anyway this is the cabin we stayed in. This is us in Duluth on our way to the cabin. We rode this family bike for 2 hours. Don't you love Jane's finger in her nose! She is a ham!
This was our last hurrah before school started. We had a great weekend up north. It was sad to have to come home and start real life again! God has created a beautiful world!
