It has become a weekly family tradition of ours to walk over to the empty field on Sunday evenings to hunt bugs. However, we always return with mosquito bites covering our arms and legs so I'm not sure who exactly is hunting who. Either way, here are a few shots from tonight's hunt. We bagged a couple prize grasshoppers (one of the most difficult bugs to catch), so we deemed this one a successful hunt.
We had a great weekend with the mishes in Wisconsin! We heard that they were going there for a zone conference and decided to go too so we could celebrate Ben's 5th birthday together. We had a great time in Door County. Here are some pics of the weekend
Last night Sam and his buddy Tyler played two songs at the open mic night at the historic Benson Grist Mill: "Holiday" by Green Day and "Heartbeat," an original. We'll try to get some video posted soon so you can hear for yourselves.
The parents decided to pay us a visit this week and remind our kids that they actually have two sets of grandparents, not just one. The other night we walked down the road to watch the sun set behind Longs Peak.
